Stone Sublimely Self-Righteous Black IPA reviewed!

  1. Moeder Lambic here in Brussels recently earned the distinction of adding Stone to their roster. Which, ok, is a bit weird since ML is one of the best beer bars in the world and really excels at promoting Belgium's more esoteric beers. But for an American who's been living here for a couple of years, having the possibility of drinking a little somethin' somethin' from home is a great gift. I had my boss, who is highly suspect that America is remotely able to produce a good beer, try the Sublimely Self-Righteous on Friday (what a coincidence!). He was delightfully surprised that it didn't taste like water, but felt like the aftertaste reminded him of chewing gum. Ah alas, I'll open his mind up to US beers somehow...

  2. That's awesome! I really like the American craft beer is making the leap across the pond. Plus breweries like Mikkeller in Denmark - brewing American style beers IN Europe is pretty great as well. Hooray beer!
